ICPC postpones Regional Conference Indefinitely

Due to emerging global developments on the outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus, also known as Covid-19, the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), on the advice of relevant agencies of government, is constrained to postpone indefinitely the 3-Day Africa Regional Conference on Combatting Corruption and Illicit Financial Flows, previously scheduled for March 31st to April 2nd 2020.

The conference had been planned to kick-start activities commemorating the Commission’s 20th anniversary but the postponement arose out of the concern for the health of participants.

The Commission will continue to monitor unfolding issues around COVID-19 and will communicate a new date to invited guests in due course. The Commission urges all Nigerians to remain conscious of this pandemic and take all necessary precautions to avoid infection.
