The Acting Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) Dr. Musa Abubakar Usman, has given the assurance that the Commission is ever ready to collaborate with other organizations in combating corruption in Nigeria. He gave this assurance while responding to a request for collaboration by the Executive Director, National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB), Alhaji Adedayo Thomas during a courtesy call by the Executive Director and the management team of the Board, at the Commission’s headquarters in Abuja recently.
Earlier in his address, Alh. Adedayo had informed the Acting Chairman and the Management team of the Commission of their statutory mandate to enforce the provisions of the Board’s enabling Act 2014 (as amended), by regulating the activities of players in the film industry in Nigeria. He appealed to the Commission to extend its training and sensitization programmes on anti-corruption to staff of the Board.
