The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) declared one Mr. Ibrahim Joseph John wanted for alleged fraudulent activities in an advertorial in the Daily Trust Newspaper of Monday, 9th February, 2015 at page 60.
Two days after, on Wednesday, 11th February, 2015 at 9am his family and friends turned him in at the ICPC Headquarters in Abuja. Mr Joseph is currently in ICPC custody and has been very cooperative and has made useful statements.
ICPC is using this public medium to praise the family and friends of Mr. Joseph for their rare patriotic act which it said was worthy of emulation by well meaning citizens. The commission commends this re-newed citizen participation against corrupt practices and calls on other Nigerians to see the fight against corruption as a collective responsibility.
