ICPC Chairman Decorates  Kingsley Nwachukwu with the New Rank of Chief Superintendent of Police

Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu, SAN, today decorated Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Kingsley Ibe Nwachukwu with the insignia of his new rank.

CSP Nwachukwu, a dedicated member of the Chairman’s Special Unit, was recognised for his exemplary service and professionalism. His journey in the Nigeria Police Force began on July 9, 2012, when he enlisted as an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).

After his commissioning as an officer two years later, he rose steadily through the ranks, earning respect for his dedication and integrity. His consistent performance culminated in his promotion to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police on February 2, 2025.

While congratulating CSP Nwachukwu and his family on the well-deserved promotion, Dr. Aliyu commended the officer for his unwavering commitment.

The Chairman urged him to maintain his high standards of hard work and dedication, noting that such exemplary conduct serves as an inspiration to others.

In his vital role within the Chairman’s Special Unit, CSP Nwachukwu continues to support the ICPC’s mandate to combat corruption and promote integrity in Nigeria’s public service. A native of Abia State, he is married with children.

The brief but memorable ceremony was attended by his wife, colleagues from the Chairman’s Special Unit, and other well-wishers celebrating this milestone.

The event concluded with commemorative photographs to mark the occasion.
