ICPC Katsina Nurtures a New Generation of Integrity-Driven Citizens as it Bids Farewell  NYSC/ CDS Group.

In a ceremony underscoring the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission’s commitment to nurturing a new generation of integrity-driven citizens, the Katsina Office of the Commission honoured the outgoing Executive and Members of the ICPC/NYSC Anti-Corruption Community Development Service (CDS) Group, Batch “B1”.

The send-forth event, held recently, served as both a valedictory tribute and a clarion call for sustained ethical stewardship.

Themed “Catching Them Young: Cementing a Legacy of Integrity,” the gathering reaffirmed the ICPC’s strategic resolve to galvanise youthful energy in the national crusade against corruption; a mission that demands not only vigilance but unwavering moral fortitude.

Addressing the corps members in his office, the Resident Anti-Corruption Commissioner (RACC) for Katsina and Zamfara States, Mr. Samuel S. Lodam, commended the outgoing volunteers for their exemplary dedication and tangible contributions to national development.

He charged them to remain steadfast advocates of probity, urging them to carry forward the banner of honesty and transparency beyond their service year.

“You are not merely exiting a programme; you are graduating as lifelong ambassadors of ethical renewal,” Mr. Lodam remarked. “Wherever your paths may lead, let the core values of the ICPC—discipline, duty, and zero tolerance for corruption—remain your compass.”

The RACC further enjoined the corps members to embody the anti-corruption ethos of the current administration, positioning themselves as catalysts for an ethical revolution capable of elevating service delivery standards across Nigeria.

He emphasised that their role as “Vanguards of Change” does not conclude with their national service but evolves into an enduring civic responsibility.

Highlights of the ceremony included the formal presentation of Certificates of Participation and a symbolic handshake from the Commissioner; each gesture marking the official close of the corps members’ service tenure and celebrating their contributions to the Commission’s grassroots outreach.

In a seamless transition of purpose, the gathering concluded with a rousing call to the incoming Batch of corps members. They were urged to build upon the foundation laid by their predecessors, upholding the highest ideals of integrity, good governance, and ethical conduct in their respective primary assignments.
