The Governing Council and Management of Imo State Polytechnic Umuagwo have commended ICPC for its spirited efforts in the recovery of the institution`s money that hither-to was lost to one of its defaulting distant learning coordinators.
Mrs S. Njemanze, Registrar of the Polytechnic on behalf of the Rector Rev. Fr. Wence Madu said “There is no gain saying that corruption has been very difficult to deal with, as it has been there for a long time and has many different aspects. At a time when it has raised its hydra-headed challenges unabated in the Public and Civil Service, the ICPC has worked relentlessly at ensuring that corrupt practices and other related offences in Nigeria, if not eliminated, are reduced to its barest minimum.”
